- Concerts For Kids is a Denver-based non-profit that produces adult-targeted events to raise funds for and awareness of local children’s charities. Christie and Walter Isenberg created the organization in 2004, with the vision of enriching the lives of children by providing the best healthcare available and a quality education. Families First is one of 40 that will benefit from the 2010 Community Day, which is a day of service that provides supplies and labor for facility maintenance projects. Rodolfo José Cárdenas and Milton Roman provide monthly air time on the radio program, Hablemos Hoy con Rodolfo José Cárdenas, to our Spanish Family Support Services. We are thrilled to work with Mr. Cárdenas who is a 27 year television and radio veteran, Colorado broadcaster of the year and Emmy award winner, recipient of the 2010 President Award from the National Hispanic Journalist Association (NAHJ), and one of the most 50 most influential Hispanic personalities in the United States. The radio program airs weekdays 6:00am - 9:00am on KNRV 1150 AM and focuses on news, information, and topics relating to the Latino community.
