Volunteer Interest Survey
There are many volunteer opportunities with Families First. Please check all that interest you.
Families Support Services and Children's Center
FAMILY SUPPORT LINE WORKER:
Staff the Family Support Line, offering a listening ear to parents. Volunteer from a central office or your home.
CHILDREN'S GROUP LEADER:
Plan and implement activities that enhance a child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development while parents attend support groups or parenting classes.
FACILITATOR:
Facilitate a weekly self-help group for parents.
STAFF AIDE:
Work directly with children ages 3-12 at the Children’s Center. Assist staff and supervise activities that enhance social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of the children.
CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES
Facilitate a weekly self-help group for parents.
Building and Grounds
HOUSE MANAGEMENT
Maintain the "home-like" environment of the Children's Center:
sorting clothing, supplies, toys and funishings for the children.
GROUNDS MANAGMENT
Ensure that the grounds of the facility present an attractive residential appearance. Help with annual plantings and general upkeep of yard.

SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT
Development a special volunteer assignment based on a particular skill or interest you may have.
Friends for Families First
Friends For Families First is a very special group of supporters who embrace the vision of creating a community that welcomes the responsibility to nurture children and strengthen families. Our Friends help the Governing Board and staff to accomplish our mission by recruiting volunteers, raising funds and promoting community awareness. Annual membership dues required: Friend ($35), Individual Patron ($50), Family ($50), Special Friend ($100), Lifetime ($350), Corporate ($500).
